WHAT IS FAR-INFRARED SAUNA?

Far-infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses special frequencies of infrared light to create heat. The ‘far’ refers to a special part of the infrared spectrum, which is precisely the wavelength of 15µm – 1mm. While traditional saunas use heat to warm the air, far-infrared sauna heats your body directly. The advantage is that it stimulates the body in a similar way that exercise does with vigorous sweating and an increased heart rate. During the production of sweat, toxins are expelled through the skin supporting an innate manner of detoxification.

Moreover, the far-infrared sauna can achieve these results at lower temperatures in comparison to a traditional sauna. This makes the far-infrared sauna more acceptable for those who cannot tolerate the heat of traditional saunas. A well-accepted and non-invasive therapy, far-infrared sauna generally has no adverse reactions.
